The Tornado Cash contributor told CryptoSlate\u2019s Akiba that \u201cmulti-sigs shut down the DAO\u2026 we\u2019re all out. Better safe than sorry, unless it all calms down a bit.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Tornado Cash DAO multi-sig wallet deleted.<\/h2>\n<p>When asked about the TRM Labs\u2019 API causing protocols such as Aave, Uniswap, and Balancer to sanction addresses linked with Tornado Cash, TC Member declared \u201cthere goes decentralization\u201d in what they described as a \u201cshitty situation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following the closing of the Tornado Cash DAO, \u201cDAO funds have been returned to Governance contracts, multisig deleted.\u201d The removal of the DAO multi-sig indicates that this may be the end for Tornado Cash, as TC Member confirmed. While clarifying that this is only their opinion, TC Member reaffirmed that<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMultisgs shut down the DAO\u2026 Tornado Cash can\u2019t fight the U.S.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>TC Member asserted that \u201cnobody did anything wrong\u2026 [the] world is fucked up\u201d about the incident. They confirmed that the DAO was shut down \u201cto keep members safe and avoid legal issues\u201d as the situation is \u201cdangerous for all devs,\u201d even those outside the Tornado Cash ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Six degrees of tornado cash is a thing. The future of Tornado Cash looks extremely gloomy as its TORN token is down 20% on the day.
