To be successful, we have to make the process as simple as possible. MoonPay has done that for crypto. And now, in partnership with Opensea, we\u2019re doing it for NFTs as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u26f5\ufe0fSail the @opensea with your card \ud83d\udcb3<\/p>\n<p>Soon, you will be able to buy NFTs with @Visa, @Mastercard, @Apple Pay, @GooglePay and more. pic.twitter.com\/vHYDT1W776<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 MoonPay (@moonpay) April 1, 2022<\/p>\n<p>Per the announcement, the partnership would allow OpenSea customers to purchase NFTs via MoonPay\u2019s NFT Checkout service using payment methods such as MasterCard, Visa, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.<\/p>\n<p>The integration of these new payment methods will be implemented in several phases, MoonPay explained, and will allow OpenSea users to \u201ceasily purchase an NFT using a debit or credit card, sidestepping the need to first acquire cryptocurrency.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Catching up to competition<\/h2>\n<p>MoonPay\u2019s NFT Checkout service went live on January 27 and was touted as the \u201cindustry-first NFT plug-and-play solution that allows users to purchase an NFT instantly with a credit or debit card.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy expanding the reach of NFTs to anyone able to pay with a card, we\u2019re not only drastically scaling NFT adoption: we\u2019re opening up new revenue streams for businesses, new royalty sources for artists, and altogether bringing the benefits that NFTs offer to a much wider brand ecosystem.\u201c<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Annnnd we\u2019re live \ud83d\udd34<\/p>\n<p>Introducing NFT Checkout: the world\u2019s only solution that allows users to purchase an NFT instantly with a card \ud83d\uded2 \ud83d\udcb3<\/p>\n<p>Details\ud83d\udc47 https:\/\/t.co\/i7L8OXUyxV pic.twitter.com\/6CK1gQrApz<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 MoonPay (@moonpay) January 27, 2022<\/p>\n<p>Coincidentally, NFT marketplace Nifty\u2019s\u2014one of OpenSea\u2019s competitors\u2014has announced a similar partnership with MoonPay just a few days ago.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, digital art online auction platform Nifty Gateway has already been supporting card payments for some time now.
