(Twitter)<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>What led to Twitter fame?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Despite having over 1 million followers on Twitter, Davis didn\u2019t have any grand plan to build his audience except just \u201cconsistently posting\u201d over the years.<\/p>\n<p>He tries to avoid just posting \u201call hardcore value content,\u201d as he thinks of himself as the \u201cfun\u201d guy with the memes and \u201cstupid opinions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Davis admits it\u2019s a mystery which tweets land and which don\u2019t \u2014 an \u201ceducational post might get 50 likes,\u201d while a seemingly frivolous tweet about Dogecoin going \u201cto the moon\u201d will get \u201c1,000 likes.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What to expect on Twitter?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Davis said his content is \u201ca lot of news\u201d and \u201cfun stuff\u201d as well as the occasional chart and educational content from his website, The Wealth Mastery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, memes are on there, too \u2014 you gotta have some fun, all just business and serious stuff [is] not fun for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Davis admits he\u2019s made mistakes but says that it is unavoidable \u201cwhen you post 20\u201330 times a day\u201d to not get \u201cplenty of stuff wrong.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He regrets being an affiliate for Celsius and BlockFi, and it didn\u2019t look too great after both went bankrupt, which he said was \u201cterrible and beyond belief.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What does he like on Twitter?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Davis enjoys having a \u201cgood feed\u201d filled with top crypto content creators, including up and comers because \u201cthere is a lot you can learn\u201d from the new kids on the block, including CyrilXBT and ViktorDefi.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s not a fan of sycophants who agree with him no matter what, preferring to be challenged.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He says the best traders \u201cfollow people who don\u2019t share your point of view.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t just build an echo chamber; build a group of people who are going to challenge those assumptions.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Crypto beefs<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Despite Davis\u2019s large following, he doesn\u2019t spend a lot of time fighting on Twitter, as his attitude is \u201ctalk trash, get blocked.\u201d<strong\/><\/p>\n<p>Premium grade Wagyu beef: ZachXBT and consequently half of Crypto Twitter<\/p>\n<p>Twitter on-chain sleuth ZachXBT accused him of shilling \u201clow cap projects\u201d to his followers just \u201cto dump them shortly after\u201d in September 2022. The allegations rippled across Crypto Twitter and still haunt him today.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Davis strongly refuted the claims but adds that the incident did a lot of \u201creputational damage\u201d and was a \u201cdifficult thing to navigate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you tell your side of the story, with allegations that are very sensational, those [allegations] tend to be the leading stories, and yours tend to not get as much traction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">My response to recent allegations by ZachXBT<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Lark Davis (@TheCryptoLark) September 29, 2022<\/p>\n<p>Davis took a powerful lesson away from the \u201cwhole event\u201d in that transparency is key in crypto, and as a result, he started posting weekly disclosures on his online content after reflecting on his business decisions.<\/p>\n<p><em>If Davis had a dollar for each crazy shirt he wore, he\u2019d be even wealthier. (Twitter)<\/em><\/p>\n<h2><strong>The future<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Davis firmly believes by the end of \u201c2024\u20132025, the next cycle peak,\u201d Bitcoin will \u201cbe over $100K, potentially as high as $150K.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As for the remainder of 2023, Davis believes, by Christmas, we are not going \u201cto be at all-time highs,\u201d saying that a top price of 2023 would be \u201c$48K.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c$48K would be the bull case; if it goes up beyond that, I\u2019m pleasantly surprised and excited.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>(<em>Editor\u2019s note: Magazine chatted with Davis before all the crypto banks fell over<\/em>.)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Davis is particularly excited about the \u201clayer 2 scene on Ethereum.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA feeling I\u2019m getting, where do other blockchains even fit in with all this layer-2 scaling going on?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Davis believes that Ethereum, in the long term, has \u201cincredible potential.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He thinks that ETH will follow along with Bitcoin, in tandem, and by the end of 2024, it will have been \u201cwell above $10,000,\u201d adding that he would \u201cnot be surprised to see that happen.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Subscribe<\/p>\n<p>The most engaging reads in blockchain.
